Hey everyone,
Deplorable, flake late merely HWS started 2 days ago a new flavor every bit announced. (updated first post regarding the new server setup)

Hey everyone,
after I took HWS out from the server listing website 2 years agone (for certain reasons) we try another run - this fourth dimension with a Vote-Reward program for you!
In the end it should motivate yous and give you something in return for that "chore".

The special thing about our reward system is that it is coded by me 100% in HWS Connect and is a cumulative organisation. This basically means: the more ofttimes and regular you vote the better the reward you tin get!

All yous have to do is login to HWS Connect and click few buttons (or manage everything with your smartphone). You get then Reputation Points and Bank credits direct delivered from the website to your player on the server - no need for ingame conversation commands.
Just keep in mind you can vote every 24 hours.

Hey anybody,

later on the biggest transitions from Blastoff seven to Alpha 8 are done and everything runs smooth once again I want to let you know that I updated the first post hither regarding Verified Server information and added recent screenshots.

With the crawly help of @Achilles we got a new Teaser to summarize some key new additions in HWS viii. Enjoy

Few bits and pieces are left to implement to the new Universe until we then start with new improvements.
Mainly looking to the new PvPvE meta the large planets creating.
In the meantime new Missions (PDA & Stargate) will be implemented and HWS Connect gets fifty-fifty more features added with the appear goal to implement the Origin Skill Tree!
Concluding but not to the lowest degree I want to thank the community to help new people to find HWS also in the public by voting in such brusk amount of fourth dimension with so many votes!
Glad to see that my idea of cumulative rewards got well accepted; giving y'all something back in return (improvements about that coming as well).

Great server! I was really impressed by the intro space and tutorial.
But I've lost all involvement after I finally get all the ores I needed to build my first CV and venture out, only to become to my first PvP planet and be told my CV could only exist 100 blocks or less. It'due south PvP, so prudent survival planning would tell you to Not go into PvP space with a crap CV that would be disabled with one good shot. The HWS Community have decided that CV on planets, especially on Hotspot PvP planets (not on all) should not vest there. More often than not because they get abused to "sponge" (absorb, decoy) damage. The focus on these planets are SV dogfights combined with HV / BAse assaults. The 100 CV Block limit can be more seen equally Transport / Supply ...

Indeed, without the fa:supply the planet might be as well difficult. Especially if you don't find our HWS POIs (Alienworm Cave, Prof Void, etc.) with special given loot.

Hey HWS Community,
afterward very long and stressful three months, HWS starts into a new flavor 10.10.
We want to cheers for your enough feedback, patience and support throughout this fourth dimension.
With your help we try our best to provide you the best Empyrion MP experience.

HWS 10.X had the goal to revert some specific Config changes, bring back rare resources being rare and rework couple of features.
As a quick summary:

reverted previous HWS Config to allow overlimit weapons and turrets. It'south at present back to Vanilla values but with a +70% damage boost

reworked Shields. The first season with shields were very interesting and useful. We identified the issue of "invincible" mini fighter and dodging shield fights. The new shields will require proper Shield Management from you lot. If yous fly-by a POI or enemy the shields are powerful enough. But if you plan a dedicated PvP assault plan ahead. In one case you committed to a longer fight the increased cooldown and recharge rate will force you to retreat or lose.

resource distribution updated. They are at present grouped together in the middle (PvP). However with defended missions and patrol routes, you can get some rare resources also in PvP to fix your PvP adventures.

reworked HWS Connect features (Daily Loot, HWS Trader)

a lot of new PDA Missions

streamlined pvp limits to Form 1 - v - 7 with 150 Block limits for CVs on planets

reworked Economic system to dynamic prices, better Bank interest and better NPC Trader

new POI integration and boost of Infinite gameplay (more than to come)

if you look at the previous HWS videos, it feels like yesterday since our last Firework result.
A lot happened in 2019, throughout the finish quite heavy things actually.
Nevertheless, with your back up and still a lot of fun for me creating something special, we are looking forward to 2020 and all the stuff we have planned.

The new season on seventh January volition exist the beginning of something bigger and more fun in the hereafter.

I think past now everyone is somehow affected by the current Corona Virus state of affairs in one or the other way. Nigh of you probably in a negative or limiting manner. For those, who got ill considering of it, I hope will fight it, to become immune against it and come out of information technology stronger than before!
For at present we accept to stay at home and but make the best out of it, right?
Luckily, as Gamer or digital Content producer information technology's not that bad and I saw a lot of new players coming. Welcome to all of you!

That is the reason Ju worked hard on a big HWS Easter Event, which should bring you all together at least virtually

Since it's a space game and we like the Curiosity Phase ane-3 movies, nosotros got a chip inspired by a special Graphic symbol: Yondu as you lot might recognized. We phone call him the "Yondu Easter Bunny".
